Reson manufacture a full range of standard reference hydrophones covering the entire frequency range from 0.1 Hz to 2 MHz plus a broad range of underwater acoustic transducers for underwater communications and signal transmission applications. The Reson product line also includes a range of accessories, including voltage and charge preamplifiers, connector and cable assemblies.

Reference Hydrophones are designed for reference projection and/or receiving of underwater sound.

Hydrophones are used in acoustic calibration and quality control of sensors and sensor systems. They are widely used for reference measurements in environmental and scientific monitoring and in industrial products and process control.

Underwater acoustic transducers are used for transmission and reception of sound. Typical applications are in communication, navigation, positioning and echo soundings. Reson transducers are also used for industrial and oceanographic applications such as measuring water flow, water level, water current, vessel speed and sound velocity.

For high power, low frequency transducers, UVS represent Argotec Inc. Argotec manufacture a range of Rare Earth Electrodynamic Transducers to US Navy specifications and models include the Navy Type J-Series of acoustic transducers which are laboratory standard underwater sound source projectors for use in reciprocity calibrations or as continuous wave sound sources in a variety of audio frequency ranges.
