required equipment is not available, UVS can manufacture the equipment to the
client’s specification. With in-house mechanical, electrical, electronic and software
experience, UVS can provide the solution to all your underwater applications. Successfully
completed projects include specialised underwater housings for cameras, instruments and
sensors, special tooling for NDT sensors, telemetry systems for control of various
functions underwater, special camera systems, integrating sensors to user supplied
equipment and software for underwater applications. UVS has manufactured specialised camera systems
for unique applications such as marine research and environmental surveys, submarine
escape training and offshore tooling cameras. Camera systems have been supplied with depth
ratings to 1300m with remote control of camera functions and lighting. Other systems
supplied include deepwater borehole systems with remote control of rotate functions and
multiple cameras for side viewing in confined spaces. UVS has also designed and supplied a
pressurised ROV A60 Control Van to meet DNV requirements for a pressurised container
suitable for operation in a Zone 1 offshore environment.
