To avoid the costly
failure of underwater cable/connectors, housings and instruments etc in the field, UVS can
test your equipment in our hydrostatic pressure vessels prior to field use. Depending on
which pressure vessel is used, equipment up to 2.5 metres long and up to 0.7 metres in
diameter can be tested to the equivalent of up to 2000 metres depth. All our pressure
vessels have multi-conductor penetrators, which allow full functional tests of equipment at depth. UVS also provide a
certified test certificate giving the client full confidence in the pressure test results.
